The project sits on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, inside the Saadiyat Cultural District, with the Saadiyat Grove district next door. Homes look out over Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Arabian Sea, and Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, NYU Abu Dhabi and Berklee Abu Dhabi are all close by, as are the island's beaches.

Baccarat Residences Saadiyat is developed by Aldar Properties in collaboration with Baccarat, the French crystal maker. The architecture is by Sou Fujimoto Architects, in the Japanese practice's first residential project in the United Arab Emirates, and the interiors are by Studio PCH, a design studio based in Los Angeles.

Aldar has released a limited collection of 77 homes across two distinct buildings. The mix covers two and three bedroom residences, four bedroom sky villas and two signature penthouses. Because the total is fixed at 77, each layout is offered in very small numbers, and Aldar has not published how many homes sit in each category.

Outdoors there is an infinity pool with private cabanas and landscaped gardens.
