The building is developed by Burtville Developments, which delivers the Bab Al Qasr branded residences across Abu Dhabi and has two of them in Masdar City. Burtville describes Bab Al Qasr Resort Residence 18 and 19 as the first Emirati style hotel branded residential resort in the district, delivered under the Bab Al Qasr brand.

Building 18 holds 188 residential units, while the neighbouring building 19 holds 295, giving 483 homes across the development. Number 18 has three passenger lifts and one service lift, a basement and a roof level, and the brochure gives a slab to slab ceiling height of 3.6 metres.

The plan is 10/70/20, meaning a 10 percent Down Payment, 70 percent in instalments during construction and 20 percent on handover. Handover is set for the third quarter of 2028, and the developer reported the building 43 percent complete at the start of September 2026.

The building has a sandy beach pool of 30 by 15 metres, an indoor pool of 20 by 7 metres and a health club of 3,000 sqft.
