• 7 three bedroom apartments of 1,771 sqft and 2 four bedroom apartments of 2,885 to 3,162 sqft.
• 16 townhouses: 3 bedroom duplexes of 2,019 to 2,034 sqft with a front and a back yard and balconies upstairs.

Every home has central air conditioning, double glazed windows, wardrobes in the bedrooms, marble and ceramic floors, fitted vanity units and television and telephone connections, with balconies as shown on the plans. Parking is on the two basement levels.

Amenities and lifestyle

The building's facilities are large swimming pools and separate children's pools, a gymnasium, a landscaped garden, a jogging track, a playground and barbecue areas, with a reception at the entrance. Masdar City around it is a walkable, low-carbon district with shaded streets, a growing cluster of clean-technology companies in its free zone, My City Centre Masdar for shopping, and cafes, schools and clinics within the district.

Location and connectivity

The Gate stands at the Masdar City entrance on the airport side of Abu Dhabi. Reportage puts My City Centre Masdar, the Masdar Institute campus, Zayed International Airport and the GEMS and Ryan International schools about five minutes away, Ferrari World about ten minutes, and Al Raha Beach and the Yas Island leisure attractions about fifteen minutes. The E10 highway connects the district to the city centre, Khalifa City and Dubai.

Buying here today

Reportage still holds a small number of homes, priced from AED 500,000 for a studio, with 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments on its current list; the price list and any payment terms for these last units are confirmed on enquiry. The other homes are bought from their owners: prices are set by each seller and move with the layout, the floor and the view over the courtyard or the district, and a purchase is paid in cash or with a mortgage from a UAE bank and completed at the transfer. Service charges are set by the building management and confirmed for each apartment. Masdar City is one of the Abu Dhabi investment zones in which buyers of any nationality can own property, and we confirm what the title of each home allows before you make an offer. The project is registered with ADREC as The Gate, number 2020/33486.
