Building condition becomes clearer when you follow the spaces residents use every day. Walk from the entrance to the lift, parking area and shared facilities. Note visible faults and ask about scheduled servicing, recent works and the process for reporting problems. A freshly decorated lobby provides little information about the systems behind it.
