Soho Square

Soho Square sits in the centre of Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, within walking distance of New York University Abu Dhabi. Louvre Abu Dhabi, teamLab Phenomena, Zayed National Museum, Saadiyat Beach Club, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club and the waterfront restaurants of Mamsha Al Saadiyat are all on the same island.

Soho Square was developed by Bloom Holding, an Abu Dhabi developer that works across property, education, hospitality, landscaping and facilities management. Its Abu Dhabi property portfolio also includes Park View on Saadiyat Island, Bloom Gardens on the Eastern Mangrove Corniche and Bloom Living in Zayed City, which gives the group a long record on the island.

It is complete and occupied. Bloom Holding announced in September 2019 that handover of all 304 residences had begun, and every unit type is now shown as sold out on the developer's own website. Buyers today purchase in the resale market rather than off plan from the developer.

The community holds 304 residences covering studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments, duplex apartments, a penthouse, and three and four bedroom townhouses. Bloom Holding publishes studios from 431 sq ft, one bedroom homes from 838 sq ft, two bedroom homes from 1,173 sq ft and three bedroom apartments from 1,531 sq ft.

Bloom Holding lists three bedroom townhouses from 2,246 sq ft and four bedroom townhouses from 4,788 sq ft, the largest homes in the community. The developer describes the overall size range across all Soho Square residences as 550 to 4,790 sq ft, so layouts vary considerably between apartment and townhouse buyers.

Residents share a swimming pool, a gymnasium, children's play areas, landscaped gardens, covered parking and round the clock security. A medical clinic serves the community, and the ground level of the development carries cafes, restaurants, retail outlets and public art spaces, with access to Saadiyat Beach nearby.

No developer payment plan applies at Soho Square. Bloom Holding sold every unit and began handover in September 2019, so purchases today are completed property transactions between a private seller and a buyer, usually settled in cash or with mortgage finance. Terms are agreed case by case rather than set by the developer.

Availability comes through the resale and leasing market rather than the developer.
