Bloom Gardens is a finished gated community on the Eastern Mangrove Corniche, on Abu Dhabi island itself. Bloom Holding built it in phases and gives the community as 457 townhouses and villas in a Mediterranean style, set in mature landscaping with fountains, shaded alleys and its own community centre. The fifth and last phase, Aldhay, added a further 181 homes of 2 to 5 bedrooms and was scheduled for handover in the third quarter of 2023. Brighton College Abu Dhabi, opened in 2011 by Bloom Education with Brighton College in the United Kingdom, sits inside the community with Bloom Nurseries.

Homes and layouts
The developer brochure sets out the built types and the sellable area of each:
- 3 bedroom townhouse, 3,100 to 4,025 sqft in the pentaplex and quadplex rows, each with a maid's room.
- 4 bedroom townhouse, 5,349 sqft over three levels.
- 3 bedroom semi detached villa, 3,207 to 3,218 sqft over two levels with covered parking.
- 4 bedroom villa, 4,843 sqft, with a majlis, a maid's room and a driver's room.
- 5 bedroom villa, 6,555 sqft, with a majlis, a study, a family retreat, a maid's room and a driver's room.
Homes were built in two architectural styles, Andalusian and Tuscan, one arranged around patios in long low volumes, the other with arched doors, porches and low pitched roofs. Interiors were delivered with high ceilings, natural stone kitchen counters, built in wardrobes in every bedroom and en suite master bedrooms. Aldhay, the fifth phase, is the smaller end of the community, with homes between 124 and 325 square metres.
Amenities and lifestyle
The community is gated, with guard controlled access and security around the clock. Inside there is a neighbourhood community centre with retail and dining, a clubhouse, swimming pools, a children's play area, tennis and sports courts, gyms, cycling paths, walking and running tracks, prayer halls for men and women and a polyclinic. Parking sits within each home and there is separate visitor parking. Tree lined alleys, water features and parks have had more than a decade to grow in.
Location and connectivity
Bloom Gardens sits on the Eastern Mangrove Corniche road, with the mangrove channel on one side and the city on the other. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Khalifa Park, Zayed Sports City and Al Maqta Bridge are all close, the ministries and government departments of the capital are a short drive away, and the Abu Dhabi to Dubai highway is reached without crossing the island. It is one of the few large gated family communities on Abu Dhabi island itself rather than on an outer island or in the suburbs.
Buying here today
Bloom Gardens is complete and lived in. The developer no longer sells it from a price list and publishes no starting price, and its own community page now lists homes here for rent, so purchases come from private owners on the resale market. Prices are set by each seller and move with the type, the plot and the condition of the home. Service charges are set by the community management and confirmed on the specific unit. Ownership depends on the title of that home and on Abu Dhabi rules that differ by area and by nationality, so we confirm in writing what you can register before you make an offer.
