Make each rental viewing comparable

Take the same short checklist to each rental viewing so a memorable feature does not overshadow everyday needs. Record layout, visible condition, parking, cooling and the journey to regular destinations. Separate facts you have checked from answers still awaiting confirmation, and add photographs only where permission has been given. After each visit, note a specific strength and a practical drawback. For example, a generous living room may be appealing while limited storage makes family routines harder. Review those trade-offs before the next viewing blurs your memory. Keep the contract review separate: a comfortable room cannot confirm payment terms or maintenance responsibilities. A consistent set of notes helps you narrow the shortlist using the same criteria and shows which unanswered questions need attention before committing. Prepared by Masterpiece Property.
