Make area figures comparable

Two homes can advertise similar areas while offering very different usable space. Ask what the quoted figure includes and request the selected unit's dimensioned plan. Identify indoor rooms, balconies and any other components separately wherever the documents provide that breakdown. Then check the contract's measurement wording and use the same basis when comparing projects. For example, a generous balcony may account for part of a larger total without giving you the extra bedroom space you need. Place your key furniture on the plan and check room proportions, door swings and circulation.
