Inspect the play area for your child's needs
Follow the path from the home to the play area, noticing crossings and places where supervision becomes difficult. Inspect the seating position you would use and ask how a damaged item is taken out of service. A well located facility still needs age appropriate equipment and an arrangement that supports attentive supervision.
A play area on the masterplan can mean different things in daily use. Check whether it is open, how you reach it and whether the arrangement suits your child’s age. Look at shade, seating and visibility from nearby homes. Ask management about maintenance and reporting issues. Treat shared facilities as one part of the decision rather than replacing checks on the home itself, family privacy and the route to school.
