Choose a workspace you can leave at day's end
A home for remote work needs a way to end the working day as well as begin it. During the viewing, look for a workspace you can close, screen off or tidy without leaving equipment across shared rooms. Think about how other household members will use the home while you are working.
For example, a desk facing the dining area may be convenient by day but keep work visible throughout the evening. Check whether equipment can be stored and whether a separate route lets others move without interrupting calls. This is a question of boundaries, beyond desk size or connectivity. Choose a layout that lets you finish work and return the space to home life with a manageable daily routine.
