Check a rental advert's permit before you call

In Abu Dhabi, broker adverts for homes to rent are published under a Madhmoun advertising permit. ADREC's website also offers a document verification service that covers Madhmoun permits, alongside tenancy contracts and certificates. Before you book a viewing, find the permit reference on the advert and check it. Then compare what the permit shows with what the advert describes: the community, the building and the number of bedrooms. Suppose the same Al Reef villa appears in two adverts with different rents. Ask the broker which advert is current and which permit it carries before arranging a visit. If an advert shows no permit at all, ask why before going further. A short check now saves a wasted trip and starts the conversation with accurate information. Prepared by Masterpiece Property.
